Swans

Series of nature photographs made in the Italian provinces of Turin, Mantua and Racconigi.
These intrepid birds fear nothing, including man and the severe climates of their habitat.
The swans – members of the waterfowl family Anatidae, belonging to the species of the Wild and Mute Swan – have been pictured in their daily behavior: the bath in a pond, the meticulous cleaning of their plumage, their prolonged rest, their “stretching”, the defense of its companion (this species remains faithful and monogamous to its partner for life) and their walk in the snow as white as their feathers.
