THE FAUNA IN THE PROTECTED AREA OF TURIN PO
Few cities in the world can show a variety of animal species that can live in (precarious) equilibrium with a urbanized riverbed environment such as the River Po in Turin. These shots, made in various canoeing outings, highlight the extraordinary fauna present in the Protected Area of the Po in Turin, between the Murazzi and the Vallere Park. We find stunning specimens such as Domestic Wild Goats and Swans, Mallard, River Hen, Coot, Heron, Crow, Buzzard, White Heron, Jay, Grebe, Drip, Cormorant, Seagull, Columbus, Red Squirrel and many others. By way of passage they stop in Turin Swan, King Fisher, Italian Cavalier, and Mandarin Duck. Inexplicably enter in the environment from the uman Gray Squirrel, Nutria and Red Ear Turtle, the “big” river “welcomed them even if foreigners … These shots want to be an invitation to visit the river the Po in Turin Protected Area on foot, bicycle or canoe. With attention we can discover in the center of the city a free open-air Zoo and admire the beautiful animals that Nature offers us.
